TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, located in Smyrna, TN, is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our progressive medical team. As part of our facility, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that includes a full suite of healthcare services, from emergency care and cardiology to orthopedics and advanced diagnostics. This role is critical in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring the best patient care and safety. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medication to patients accurately. Perform diagnostic imaging studies safely while ensuring patient comfort. Document and maintain accurate patient records and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Adhere to and maintain radiation safety standards according to prescribed safety procedures. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to provide optimum care. Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Proficiency in the use of nuclear medicine technology and equipment Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals application and safety protocols Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
