Job Description:
Southern Health Partners is offering an exceptional opportunity
for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to bring their clinical skills
to our healthcare team serving the correctional community. In this
role, you will provide direct nursing care to inmates, focusing on
assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation within a secure and
dynamic environment. Our specialized setting offers a unique
clinical experience, promoting compassionate care while maintaining
personal safety and professional growth. Provide comprehensive
nursing care based on individual patient needs within a
correctional facility setting. Administer medications, track
dosages and maintain medical records compliant with regulations.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Respond to emergencies
and provide necessary interventions. Educate patients on health
maintenance and disease prevention. Maintain a safe and clean
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Advocate for the health and well-being of patients. Proficient in
clinical skills with an ability to handle medical emergencies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Secure handling of
medication and understanding of compliance standards. Ability to
work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work
various shifts and adapt to changing work environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Active
LPN license valid in the state of employment. CPR certified.
Experience in correctional healthcare preferred but not
required.
