Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN-Labor &
Delivery to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As a

commitment to providing high-quality, personalized care in our
Labor and Delivery unit. This position is pivotal in maintaining
our high standards of care, where every patient is treated with
dignity and respect in their most vulnerable moments. Provide
direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the
application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized
documentation systems. Instruct and educate patients and families
through pregnancy and postpartum processes. Participate in the
development and modification of nursing care plans. Prepare
patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments. Assess,
plan, implement and evaluate care tailored to the individual
patient's needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to
provide patient-centered care. Strong ability to operate all
standard medical equipment relevant to Labor & Delivery. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Advanced knowledge of
prenatal care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid state RN license. BLS certification
required; ACLS preferred. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
certification is highly desirable.
