Department Overview The Registered Nurse in our Emergency
Department is dedicated to delivering patient-focused care through
the nursing process while upholding professional accountability.
This position requires collaboration with various departments to
ensure optimal patient care, while also maintaining confidentiality
and adhering to institutional standards. Candidates must possess
the necessary nursing licensure and certifications, including Basic
Life Support, with additional specialized certifications as

Overview This role involves utilizing the nursing process to
deliver comprehensive patient care. The Registered Nurse is
accountable for the care provided to assigned patients and assesses
the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers.
Coordination of patient care with other departments is essential,
as is the protection of patient rights and confidentiality.
Responsibilities must align with our mission, values, and service
standards. Position Details Qualifications Education: Must have
graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree,
Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or
compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: Relevant experience in nursing is preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American
Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of
hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the
specific unit, including but not limited to: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac
Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC (Emergency
Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) CPHON
(Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN (Oncology
Certified Nurse) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS
(Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E.
(Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And
Emotional Support) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification) Other
unit-specific certifications as required Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking are required throughout each shift.
Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill
