during the hiring process. How you’ll make an impact in this role
Diagnostic Imaging: Perform ultrasound procedures to examine body
structures and tissues, ensuring high-quality images are produced
for interpretation. Equipment Operation: Set up and adjust imaging
equipment, manually maneuvering transducers to conduct both routine
and complex studies. Quality & Safety Standards: Implement safety
protocols and perform quality control procedures while recognizing
significant structures, pathology, and equipment limitations.
Technical Documentation: Ensure the prompt submission of accurate
images and documents to PACS, verifying image quality, lead
markers, and patient history. Maintenance & Compliance: Monitor
equipment for malfunctions, report potential problems, and maintain
a clean department in compliance with regulatory agency standards.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification /
Registration: • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of
hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association
or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following
required: Registered Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular
Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date. Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography
credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular Sonography
credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered
Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180
days) of hire date or job transfer date. Must be board-eligible
upon hire date. Registered Medical Sonographer credentialed from
the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
date. Must be board-eligible upon hire date. Registered Sonography
Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular
Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or
job transfer date. Registered Sonography Tech specializing in
Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180
days) of hire date or job transfer date. Must be board-eligible
upon hire date. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of
experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree
