Job Description Job Description Our client, a leader in food chemistry testing, is seeking a Sample Prep Technician to join their team. As a Sample Prep Technician, you will be part of the Food Chemistry Testing Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a willingness to ask questions, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sample Prep Technician Location: Madison, WI Pay Range: $18.50/hr plus shift differential ($20.17/hr) Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm What's the Job? Perform a variety of sample preparation tasks to ensure sample homogeneity, including labeling, transferring, and weighing samples. Communicate sample information and discrepancies to appropriate personnel. Handle internal customer inquiries and requests effectively. Learn and apply critical thinking skills to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Work collaboratively within a team to achieve departmental goals. What's Needed? High School diploma or equivalent. 1 years working experience (not specific to industry) Strong customer service skills, including attention to detail and effective communication. Ability to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain excellent attendance. What's in it for me?
