Start Building Your Future today!We are seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Specialist who will support an Aerial Targets Branch within a US Army program with a focus on adversarial threat representation. You will be relied upon to function as the primary POC through all phases of the FMS lifecycle, from pre-Letter of Request (LOR) through Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA). The FMS Specialist will be looked upon to monitor all FMS cases and activities, ensuring that all LOAs are processed and completed within the constraints and guidelines established in the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM). In this role, you will be developing procedures, providing advice and assistance, and performing as a technical authority for fielding, operations, and services support related to the FMS programs. On a recurring basis, the FMS Specialist will be performing in a cross-functional environment, providing assistance to the Program Manager, United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), Major Subordinate Commands, and Security Assistance Officers, working to identify critical elements such as preferred acquisition plans based on country provided requirements, available financial assets, and legal and policy constraints within requested and/or established suspense dates. You'll need to possess a comprehensive knowledge of the relationship between program management, logistics, procurement, and product support, the successful candidate will be involved with the administration of international agreements ensuring the proper planning, coordination, and evaluation of all FMS program execution elements. You will rely on your strong working knowledge of the Defense Security Assistance Management System, coupled with your strong understanding of business strategy planning to advise Government personnel in the procurement of combat vehicles, support equipment, and support services at a multi-million-dollar level.Required:

• BA or BS degree
• 3 years of direct FMS experience supporting DoD
• Working knowledge of the Security Assistance Management Manual and the Defense Security Assistance Management System
• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
• Must have an in-scope security clearanceDesired
  • Experience drafting/editing Acquisition Plans and Justification & Approvals
