General Summary Analyzes program activities such as acquisition program planning, proposal pricing, financial management, cost analysis and other tasks related to government contracts. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions) * Analyzes, evaluates, and assists in development and maintenance of program budget * Monitors costs incurred, program performance and provides status information* * Plans, schedules and executes special activities as required* * May provide support to customer combat and materiel development, system fielding, test and evaluation, integrated logistics support, independent assessment, process modeling and manpower/force structure functions in support of major systems acquisition processes and programs * Assists in preparation and analysis of specific reports as required* * May serve as technical liaison between corporate departments, subcontractors, consultants and others * May provide leadership to lower level employees Required Experience -- Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience * Minimum of six years work related experience specifically in systems acquisition process, force integration and/or force development activities * Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance * Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge of different types of contracts such as Time and Material, Cost Reimbursement, and Fixed Price * Must be detail oriented * Must have the ability to clearly report financial findings and information to management in a concise, unbiased manner * Active Secret security clearance * Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed for the US Government, US Citizenship is required Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
