Master Data AnalystCompany DescriptionRWC is a market leader and
manufacturer of water solutions for residential, commercial, and
industrial applications. RWC's portfolio of brands includes
industry-leading brands: SharkBite Push-to-Connect plumbing
solutions; HoldRite engineered plumbing and mechanical solutions;
Cash Acme control valves; John Guest fittings and fluid dispense
products; EZ-FLO and Eastman appliance connectors, supply lines,
stop valves and gas connectors.Overview:This position is
responsible for supporting functional processes by creating,
updating, analyzing and aligning master data with business
processes to deliver trusted data accurately and efficiently;
monitor, analyze and continuously improve master data quality and
effectiveness; ensure master data integrity is maintained through
governance processes and procedures; and support new initiatives as
we strive to exceed our internal and external customer's
expectations. This role is cross functional working with
Finance/Controlling, Supply Chain Planning, Strategic Sourcing,
Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Product
Management and Sales. This position requires skills of high level
of strategic analysis, problem solving, as well as focusing on
daily hands-on operations and data maintenance.Principal
Responsibilities
Setup new items / update existing
master data elements in SAP; including but not limited to material
master, BOM's, Routings, Work Centers, and Production Versions in a
timely manner that supports service level agreements.Audit, analyze
and reconcile master data fields in SAP following Governance
processes and procedures.Investigate and resolve data incidents by
collaborating internally and with business partners to identify
root causes and implement corrective actions.Identify data
improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with peers and
business partners to implement improvement initiatives.Participate
in decision making process to enable and optimize data governance
processes and data quality monitoring processes.Assist in creation
and maintenance of training materials, process flows and work
instructions to ensure information is current and effective for end
users. Provide SAP system support and error resolution throughout
the organization.Assist in any ad hoc report preparation, analytics
or other duties required by Supply Chain COEMaintain and promote an
environment of teamwork and collaboration.Follow all safety
policies, procedures, and regulations. Education, Knowledge, Skills
and Expertise
Education: Bachelor's degree in
Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science or EngineeringExperience:
A minimum of 3-5 years SAP experience.Master data experience to
include MM, PP and WMIntermediate to Advanced Excel - VLOOKUP,
Pivot Tables, Formulas: 5 yearsExperience in manufacturing a
plusExperience in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of
master data processes, standards, data governance and data quality
concepts.Knowledge and expertise with SAP Material Master Data
fields and tables, LSMW & SQVISAP/ERP system knowledgeAbility to
quickly discern critical details that impact businessUnderstanding
of data structure, relational databases (e.g. entity relationship,
referential integrity), query and reporting tools.Strong logical
reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong
interpersonal, organizational, and communication
skillsCross-functional work experience (Accounting, Sales,
Production Planning, Engineering Procurement, Supply Chain)Advanced
skills in Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas,
merging data sets, import/export of data.Ability to work
independently and proactively with minimal supervisionAbility to
multitask. Take ownership for prioritizing workloadsAbility to
adapt in a quick changing environment and work under pressure
Working Conditions:This position will be in an office and warehouse
environment. Physical Demands:Job requires both sitting and
standing. Excellent vision, hearing and speech are required to
