Maintenance Technician w/ Electrical for our manufacturing facility
in Huntsville, Alabama. Shift hours: 10:30pm-7:00am
(Sunday-Thursday) with occasional call-ins and weekends. Our
Maintenance Technicians w/ Electrical are part of a highly skilled
team that is critical to ensuring equipment and systems are fully
operational for continuous production and to consistently meet
production goals.In order to become successful, you ll have to
quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing equipment/systems, and our
maintenance program. A successful Maintenance Technician with
Electrical is a problem-solver and is strong with troubleshooting
and determining corrective action, installing, repairing and
maintaining a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems.
Employees in this position must have a sound mechanical aptitude
preferably with some specialized parts training and/or experience
in the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic. Position
Responsibilities:
Performing daily maintenance and
electrical service on equipment by providing the following
skillsApply knowledge of basic mechanics, measuring, metal sawing
or burning, belt and sheave replacement, bearing and shaft
replacement, pipe fitting, drilling, milling, pump rebuilding, and
fabrication. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic,
and hydraulic systems with and troubleshoot without
prints/schematics/drawings.Use air tools, electric tools, lathes,
milling machines, multi-meters to measure/troubleshoot/verify
electrical systems, welding equipment, and metal burning equipment.
Setup, install, and specify AC drives, DC drives, and Variable
Frequency Drives (VFD s).Program and specify PLC s, troubleshoot
PLC s and install new & replacement PLC s.To understand and apply
the NEC manual to daily activities as required and be familiar with
NFPA70E. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
educationAt least 3 years of related work experienceQualified
candidates must be self motivated with strong problem solving
skills and good communicationSound organization skills and be able
to handle not only day to day routine items; but be able to
originate and/or carry out project assignments. Knowledge and
experience working in MS Office Required. Ability to understand
Mechanical & Electrical systemsBasic AC/DC certification
preferredElectrical troubleshooting is strongly desired Physical

performed in a heavy industrial environment with high levels of
