Job Summary The business analyst supports each phase of project delivery across technical, operational, and economical channels, including planning, processes, and implementation. This person acts as a resource in the requirements phase of a project, the liaison for process analyzation and modification, and the developer of design, configuration, and testing of the project. The business analyst contributes to the acquisition of necessary tools to meet the needs of their stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the scheduling of workshops, meetings, training sessions and coordination of applicable facility requests for ERP and CRM efforts. Work with System Integrators to configure applications based on best practices. Works alongside IT and stakeholders to craft the IT Strategy, Goals and respective Dashboards. Facilitates communication, change management for specific IT programs. Responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and assessment of reports across various stakeholder groups with a focus on the automation of analyses and visualizations that result in meaningful insights and increased adoption. Plan, manage and communicate releases, goals, schedules, dependencies, procedures and tasks. Research best practices for Salesforce in-app guidance programs and assist with the implementation playbook Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or other related degree program Relevant, equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 0-2 years of professional, relevant experience is required. Has a natural curiosity and takes initiative to dig under the surface to uncover data trends and insights through research tactics Excellent verbal and written communication skills, consulting skills, and decision making/problem solving skills are required. Ability to facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to drive a common understanding and act as a translator between various stakeholder groups Experience with applying and general knowledge of various analyses and gathering approaches, methodologies, and models. Strong analytical and planning skills / experience with software development projects. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Familiar with operational applications and methodologies regarding ERP, SCM, Business Intelligence, CRM, and other financial/operational systems Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, Salesforce and Tableau No travel is expected in this position. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Senior or Masters level student Experience in Tableau and Sales Force preferred and competitive alternatives (Power BI or DOMO etc.) Experience with mobile application deployments. Understanding of Cyber Security trends and business implications. Understanding of mathematical relationships Basic Qualifications: Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree. Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile) Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer.
