Job Description:

Help Desk TechnicianF1 Solutions has an immediate need for a full time -Help Desk Technician. We are Huntsville's largest and most trusted outsourced IT provider for small and medium business and have been voted both Best Place to Work and Huntsville Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both in person and remotely
  • Install and maintain workstations and networks according to documented procedures
  • Ensure minimal downtime and that SLAs are followed
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all IT systems, infrastructure, processes and procedures
  • Assist clients with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, switches, and other networking technologies that impact up to a single user.
  • Handle patches, upgrades, and software licenses
  • Support users with common software applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Great attitude

  • Other duties as assignedQualifications
    • 3+ years of relevant technology experience, helping end users in a ticketing environment
    • Knowledge of Active Directory architecture, infrastructure, and management
    • Experience working with Microsoft 365 including assigning licenses and supporting users
    • Proficient in the use of Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications
    • Significant experience explaining technical subjects to non-technical users in a friendly, nonthreatening way
    • Experience maintaining backups and recovering files for end users
    • Exceptional communication skills and professional judgement
    • High attention to detail and follow through
    • Ability to work well with clients and coworkers
    • Strong commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
    • U.S. citizenship is required
    • Non-smoker for at least 1 year is required
