Responsibilities: Defines and develops material strategy
Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products
Participates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management
Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs
Supports MRP in creating and release of requisitions
Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts
Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements
This position has direct path to a lead role in a large high visibility program
Supports lead planner in establishing financial forecast related to material procurement strategy Basic Qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist: Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 7 years of relevant experience
Will consider 3 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 1 year of relevant experience with Master's
Understanding of Government contracting and key business processes and have the ability to contribute to advanced strategy and planning throughout the business process
MRP / ERP experience
Proficient with using Microsoft Excel or Word
Proactive, self-directed and can take instruction and act
Be able to travel, as needed (up to 10%)
U.S. Citizen Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Planning Specialist: Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
Will consider 6 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 4 year of relevant experience with Master's
Understanding of Government contracting and key business processes and have the ability to contribute to advanced strategy and planning throughout the business process
Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
MRP / ERP experience
Be able to travel, as needed (up to 10%)
U.S. Citizen Preferred Qualifications: SAP MRP experience
Bachelor's degree
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Data Analytics Salary Range: $61,900 USD - $92,900 USD
Salary Range 2: $76,200 USD - $114,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
