following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specificationsCompletes or updates all maintenance related documentation according to sites document control procedure: work orders, reports, requisitions, PM tasks, time cards, maintenance manuals, and surveysCondition monitoring- locates sources of problems by observing devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments, initiate corrective actions to prevent unscheduled downtimeTroubleshooting malfunctions- selects logical approach to "troubleshooting", repair problems, and write detailed explanation on cause of malfunctionRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of partsDetermines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instrumentsControls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring complianceFabricates repair parts as necessaryMaintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by following parts check out procedure; checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders (as needed) ; verifying receiptConserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsProvides maintenance information by answering questions and requestsPrepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publication; establishing personal networksMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsInstallation of machinery: leveling, aligning, testing, and debuggingProvide troubleshooting of Mechanical devices and equipmentAble to read and follow drawings and Document / communicate all machine control modifications to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose the root cause of the problemProvide input for documentation and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematicsTest production equipment to perform functional testingPerforms Lock-out duties as necessary for all energy sources as the Authorized PersonUpdating daily logs and entering work ordersCoordinate Contractors through the issuing of Work Permits (including safety release for confined space, hot work, elevated work, Job Hazard Analysis and others)Assist in training across functionsMust be able to work under high pressure, continuous production environment with high standardsProactive involvement in maintenance to report and prevent any deficienciesReports to maintenance supervisor, and often works with engineersResponsible for keeping craft skills up to date through ongoing trainingMaintains a safe and clean work environment adhering to 5S standards and all safety procedures while working efficiently to complete daily and weekly work schedules on timeLeadership Competencies, Technical Skills RequirementHigh school diploma or equivalent is required with over 7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or a two- year Industrial Maintenance degree with 5 years or more Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferredEquipment maintenance, technical understanding, deals with uncertainty, safety, power tools, attention to detail, flexibility, supervision, job knowledge, productivityGeneral hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, straightedges, and riggingOperate power truck, man-lift, other mobile equipment and cranesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, charts and sketchesPrecision alignment, cutting, welding, brazing, heating and soldering are preferredAsset care continuous improvementMaintenance systems familiarity - computerized maintenance management system, maintenance schedule, maintenance inventoryPreventive Maintenance familiarity - condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, proactive maintenanceMaintenance planning and scheduling support tasksRoot cause analysis, possess good mechanical and / or electrical experience,Be able to work collaboratively and effectively with others as part of a teamBe willing to learn, grow, and improve their job skillsStrong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and active listening skillsMust possess complex problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedlyMust be willing to work a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
