Our teams'' current projects range from engineering and logistics support for vital space hardware to platform and weapons modeling, simulation, and engineering. Your role: In your role as a Program Specialist/Analyst, you will serve as the program expert on an interdisciplinary team and work closely with engineers and technicians; be responsible for communication with the customer to ensure satisfactory accomplishment of all aspects of the test projects, with emphasis on instrumentation products for missile, sensor or aviation systems within their assigned program. They will perform comprehensive project planning, scheduling, cost management, risk/issue management, and progress reporting. They will develop schedule baselines and track schedule status on a daily basis. Evaluate schedule critical paths and help manage resources in order to proficiently meet deadlines. They will work with test engineers, procurement personnel and assembly/mission support personnel on a frequent basis to capture changes to schedule deadlines and deliverables in real time. The teammate will consistently publish an efficient test schedule based upon test asset availability, equipment and labor. Will work with the teams within the division to remove obstacles to achieve test goals and objectives. They will review and verify all program test procedures, practices and systems to ensure current methods are documented and accurate. Although the teammate is not required to design and develop test plans and procedures, they must be able to understand and communicate technical requirements. They will drive continuous improvement efforts related to internal division scheduling and processes. They will follow all standing operating procedures, work procedures, and safety guidelines. The candidate will make recommendations and collaborate with teammates in establishing best practices, workplace organization, and an inventory program. Other duties as assigned. What you''ll do all day: * Support the assigned Program Manager by planning, coordinating, and executing all integration activities from the product design phase through test and delivery * Aid in procurement execution, manage and update bill of materials, and manage inventory levels to ensure project deliverables meet required deadlines and milestones. * Duties include reading and interpreting technical data packages. * Place/track purchases. * Conduct cost analysis and execute QA/QC functions. * Support multiple projects in parallel in an environment that changes quickly in response to customer needs. You will love this job if you: * Are a self-starter and require little oversight to complete given tasks * Enjoy a fast-paced work environment * Love working with diverse groups of individuals, including engineers and technicians * Are good at communicating with people * Have a positive attitude * Enjoy multitasking Minimum requirements for this position: * Must possess a Bachelor''s Degree in a technical, science or business discipline from an accredited* college/university and 6 years of experience in one of the following areas, as related to the respective job required: Communication, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Personnel/Human Resource Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, Safety, Security, and Environmental specialties; or an Associate''s Degree and 8 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; or 10 years of experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area; or 10 years of military training in the specialty area, or a combination thereof, may be substituted for the education requirements. * Procurement process experience. * Understanding quality principles. * Experience managing inventory and ensuring project deliverables meet requirements. * Working knowledge of project management. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance. * Must be a US Citizen.
