Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal / Sr Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.Job Responsibilities:The Hardware Engineering Department is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Electrical Engineer to work with senior electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers, developing intra-connect and interconnect diagrams. The position would require occasional rack equipment surveys, and developing power analyses.Basic Qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Electrical Engineer or Sr Principal Electrical Engineer level.Basic Qualifications for a Principal Electrical Engineer are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience, or 0 years of related experience with a PhD.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer are:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science and 9 years of related experience, or a Master's degree and 7 years of related experience, or 5 years of experience with a PhD.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Additional Basic Qualifications for both positions:
    • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.
    • Proficient in technical problem solving
    • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
    • Capable of performing assigned tasks to completionPreferred Qualifications:
      • Working knowledge of Visio
      • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
        
        Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USDSalary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD
        
        Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
