  • Competitive and non-competitive sourcing approaches, requests for quotes
  • Solicitation bid packages strategies, targeting optimized pricing through volume
  • Source selections in a competitive environment
  • Understand and evaluate multiple supplier proposals to place compliant purchase orders.
  • Extract, monitor, analyze and validate data and information from multiple sources
  • Develop engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners / customers to drive problem resolution.Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's from an accredited institution with 6 years of professional experience (in the fields of Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, or other related field) or 10 years of work related experience in lieu of degree
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite
    • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications:
      • Ability to discern and analyze data to formulate and execute effective negotiation strategies
      • Demonstrated experience in the analysis and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions
      • Problem solving, and interpersonal skills
      • Proven ability to apply risk-based thinking in support of strategic decision making
      • SAP experience
      • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR

        Salary Range: 69100 - 103700

        Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
