As the lead program analyst for the Space Systems HLS program in
Huntsville, the ideal candidate is a self starter who works well
both independently and in groups. They must display strong
analytical and problem solving skills in order to support the
program o ce in pursuit and management of the HLS business area.
Responsible for all nancial and administrative matters pertaining
to the HLS program, assisting with strategy and the allocation of
resources and overseeing the preparation of cost proposals, nancial
reports, budgets, schedules and performance variance analysis. Must
have a high level understanding of project management planning,
monitoring and control concepts. Responsibilities include:
* Preparing nancial forecasting and reporting information requested
by the Program Managers, including sta ng and revenue projections,
nancial analysis, program health and business development
* Preparing cost proposals in accordance with solicitations,
customer requirements, and internal process.
* Using internal information systems to create and manage budget
plans for programs, projects, and tasks and respond proactively to
address potential problems. Perform analysis and prepare reports on
weekly and monthly basis to ensure that contracts are within
negotiated and agreed upon parameters.
* Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate
records of expenditures, preparation of expenditure projections,
and submitting timely requests for additional funding and/or senior
management risk authorization.
* Monitoring contractual changes and potential impact to cost and

* Bachelor s degree and 5 7 years of related financial management
experience in high-tech / commercial industry.
* Excellent nancial analysis skills, familiarity with principles of
nancial tracking, program planning, and scheduling
