COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for a Systems Engineer position to work Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS). AMPS is a product within the Product Director Aviation Network and Mission Planning, PEO Aviation in Huntsville, AL. We are seeking an individual who is excited about working with state-of-the art Aviation Systems and enjoys working with and solving complex problems. An AMPS system or software engineer will be a contributing team member for requirements analysis, test scenarios, digital simulations, and aircraft integration testing. They will utilize In-depth knowledge of AMPS software and components to include FlaconView, AIM, and xPlan. Required Experience -- Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or the equivalent experience (8 years of related experience may be substituted for degree). * Minimum of eight years work related experience at the program level to provide programmatic and/or systems engineering/integration support to major DoD acquisition activities (16 total years of related experience is required if no degree). * Active Security clearance required. * Familiarization with AMPS software and components to include FlaconView, AIM, and xPlan. * Due to the nature of work we perform for the US Government, US Citizenship is required. * Cybersecurity (RMF) familiarization. * Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment and have the interpersonal skills to interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel in a rapid paced environment. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with the S3I AMRDEC software development process. * Understanding of the National Geospatial Agency digital maps and terrain standards. * Experience with AMPS support to aircraft testing and certification requirements. * Army Interoperability Certification experience. * SharePoint knowledge.
