condition of employment.JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARYSummary of position:
Clinician will provide holistic assessments identifying basic
needs, social and emotional, mental health, and substance use needs
to individuals, groups, and families engaged with an identified
partner pediatrician's office.TYPICAL WORKING
CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENTThis position will primarily be housed at an
identified partner pediatrician's office. This position requires
utilization of a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center
business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified F
endorsement is a condition of employment.JOB
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThis job description is not intended to be

of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family focused
interventions. Complete assessments for basic needs, case
management mental health of children, formulate diagnoses, and
develop treatment plans for children and their families. Maintain
trauma-informed and supportive relationships with clients and their
caregivers. Provide individual and family sessions. Assist
children, youth, and their families in learning, developing, and
using resources, self-regulation strategies that improve emotion
regulation and reduce trauma-related behaviors using
trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate interventions.
Complete outpatient individual and family therapy in accordance
with productivity targets. Respond to referrals from partner
pediatrician office maintaining consistent follow up and
communicating outcomes with partner office. Identify financial
needs of the participants. Prepare needed paperwork to request
financial assistance and submit paperwork for approval in a timely
manner.Coordinate services to participant including but not limited
to housing, medical needs, mental health and substance use needs,
legal issues, social skills development, employment and education.
Assume responsibility as the primary worker for an assigned
caseload of participants and familiarize self with all resources in
the community. Comply with all clinical record-keeping
responsibilities including but not limited to monthly and
semi-annual productivity reports, daily contact logs, and group
sign in sheets. Complete all documentation within four business
days of client contact. Serve as advocate/liaison for participants
to secure services and reduce barriers to those services including
but not limited to coordination of care for medical and mental
health services, education services and assistance, employment
needs and assistance, housing needs and assistance. Maintain a good
driving record and maintain driver insurability. Maintain and use a
safely operating vehicle for program business. Attend Covenant
Staff and treatment meetings as requested, attend and complete all
trainings required by HRMC. Provide and coordinate transportation
for consumers to necessary appointments including use of own
vehicle, bus passes, SETHRA transportation, etc. Demonstrates
professionalism in all aspects of performance. Strives to promote
harmonious relationships with all staff and all departments.
Demonstrates dependability and flexibility when needed to meet
program expectations and assist with other programs and/or projects
as needed or as requested. Demonstrates commitment to professional
growth and development and meets staff development standards set by
Helen Ross McNabb Center. Maintain ability to work well with
diverse clients and relate in a professional manner to the public
and staff. Demonstrates respect for the dignity and privacy of
clients by maintaining confidentiality in compliance and in
accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
(HIPAA), which regulates the unauthorized release of our clients'
personal health information. Promotes positive public relationships
and promotes all Helen Ross McNabb Center programs within the Helen
Ross McNabb Center system and community. Adheres to HRMC dress code
and maintains a professional appearance.Adheres to all Center and
Department policies and proceduresMaintain strong collaboration
with partners on behalf of the youth and families served.Assist in
tasks that improve overall management of program, including
arranging transportation for clients, maintaining program supplies,
overseeing interns, insurance authorizations, and other
administrative tasks. Complete documentation of program activities
in timely manner and in accordance with program and Center-wide
policies.COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is
approximately $49,273/year based on relevant experience and
education.Schedule: Primary working hours are Monday through Friday
8am-5pm. Equipment/Technical Competency: Must have basic competency
in office applications such as Word and Excel. Position requires
regular use of a computer, and appropriate phone etiquette.
Equipment/Technology: Position must be able to complete electronic
documentation. QUALIFICATIONS - Master's Level Pediatric
ClinicianExperience / Knowledge: One year of experience using
evidence-based trauma treatment methods with children
preferred.Education / License: Master's degree in social work,
Psychology, or related field required; Training in trauma informed
care and interventions, child psychopathology, cultural diversity,
and child development preferred.Physical/Emotional/Social -
Skills/Abilities:Exposure to biological hazards. Hearing of normal
and soft tones. Close eye work. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking,
bending, stooping, and reaching. Regular attendance is an essential
job function. Required to be certified in CPR/First Aid and trained
in Handle with Care de-escalation techniques.Valid Driver's License
