Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION StraitSys is looking for a Cloud Subject Matter
Expert to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in
Huntsville, ALThis role is responsible for the design, development,
implementation, migration, and utilization of cloud solutions,
strategies, processes, and standardsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible
for configuring cloud infrastructure components like networking and
security services as well as monitoring cloud management and data
storage servicesPlans and conducts complex level technical tasks
associated with the implementation and maintenance of systems on LD
managed cloud servicesEstablishes and oversees standards for cloud
operations according to client specifications and
parametersCollaborates with Government personnel, project managers,
engineers, security professionals, development teams, and
infrastructure services to define, establish, and communicate
application and data architecture standards, policies, and
directionsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, &
ABILITIES: Cloud solutions, strategies, processes, and standards
Cloud networking and security services Cloud management/monitoring
Cloud data storage services Managed cloud services Cloud operations
Application and data architecture standards, policies, and
directions QUALIFICATIONS: Active Top Secret Clearance with the
ability to obtain SCI if requiredBachelor's or master's degree in
Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud
Computing, or related technical disciplineEducation substitution
requires 9+ years' proven specialized experience managing IT
network or system operations, maintenance, and design for
on-premises and/or cloud environments 5+ years specialized
experience managing IT systems with system architecture and
engineering experience for on-premises and/or cloud environments2+
years proven successful cloud experience designing systems,
migrating systems to the cloud, analyzing cloud utilization, and
managing cloud costs to stay within budget, requiring performance,
usage, and data storage operations Prefer at least one of the
following certifications: Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge
(CCSK), Amazon Web Service (AWS) Solutions Architect - Associate,
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud
Engineer, or other certifications exemplifying skill sets needed to
manage IT systems in the cloudMust be a US Citizen Ability to
successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
