Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), C4MD is looking for you to join our team as a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer Systems based out of Huntsville, Alabama.Responsibilities:NGDS Engineer Systems perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic Qualifications Principal Engineer Systems:5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain oneRequirements and Interface definition experienceSystem analysis experienceModel-Based Systems Engineering experienceDesign experience that resulted in implementation of an operational product; including the ability to make quick design decisions and produce design artifacts from which developers may write codeExcellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to coordinate with government and internal team membersBasic Qualifications Sr. Principal Engineer Systems:9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhDActive Secret Clearance or ability to obtain oneRequirements and Interface definition experienceSystem analysis experienceModel-Based Systems Engineering experienceDesign experience that resulted in implementation of an operational product; including the ability to make quick design decisions and produce design artifacts from which developers may write codeExcellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to coordinate with government and internal team membersPreferred Qualifications:Agile experience - develop Concepts, Epics, FeaturesTechnical experience with IAMD: C2 with understanding of weapons, sensors, distributed computing and these systems' impact on a command and control system's architecture, requirements, and interfaces for communications between these systemsCameo ExperienceSalary Range: $95,100 USD - $142,700 USDSalary Range 2: $117,900 USD - $176,900 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
