Job Family:Data Science ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain SecretWhat You Will Do:The Data Scientist will provide full-stack development consulting to a Department of the Army client as part of a Digital Transformation team. The Team will be responsible for harnessing, cleaning, and analyzing large amounts of related data and providing an intuitive and user-friendly set of data visualization dashboards and applications based on this data, to foster a data-driven decision-making approach. The Team will follow an Agile/Scrum methodology, iterating rapidly in 2-week sprints and constantly engaging with the client for feedback, quickly transforming that feedback into formal requirements.We seek candidates with extensive knowledge of and hands?on experience with modern Data Science approaches with proven ability to work independently to model business and functional requirements into complex reports, data visualizations and dashboards. The candidate will be the lead data scientist on the team, consulting with the client in the development of innovated data models. Initially, team tasks will include importing data into a visualization engine from various external sources and the development of other web-based query applications.
