Network Engineer Software & Cyber Solutions - Huntsville, Alabama Apply for This Job Department Software & Cyber Solutions Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Mid-level Position : Network Engineer Work Type : Full Time Location : Huntsville, AL Job Summary: Provides technical expertise in the analysis, development, testing, and implementation of network architectures, platforms, and applications. Switching and routing experience required to work on cellular network. Leads, coordinates, and executes network operations. Conducts the routing security analysis of network components and implements component patches. Supports continued network performance monitoring, incident detection, network security functions and problem resolution. Designs, develops, tests, and maintains network communications to include data, voice, and video services.Fulfills networking requirements and builds layer 2 and/or 3 technical solutions. Manages both risk and compliance and works to ensure that the network infrastructure remains in accordance with current technology standards and all applicable Federal and DoD regulations. Defines client needs and developing plans and/or proposals for the delivery of technical solutions. Configures networks to ensure the highest levels of security while providing efficient flow of data and manages system (hardware/software) installs, moves, adds, and changes. Required: + ABET accredited BS in Engineering; or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related technical degree+ Minimum 5 years of related experience+ Some travel+ Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance Desired: + Network certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE+ VMware Certified Professional (VCP); VMware Certified Associate (VCA), VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)+ Experience with Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira, etc)+ Proficient with MS Visio CULTURE REQUIREMENTS: --- Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self?organized.
