opportunity for a Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer
to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position
will be located in Huntsville, AL.**Position Overview:**The
selected Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer will be
responsible for developing and implementing software updates that
best meet changing customer needs on the Modeling and Simulation
Framework (MASC-F) Program.**Essential Functions:**+ Support
advanced portions of the lifecycle of software development to
include requirements definition, integration, and deployment.+
Prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results with
limited oversight and direction.+ Apply "systems thinking" to
ensure developed products are scalable, maintainable, and meet
end-user needs.+ Communicate openly and effectively with teammates
and customer representatives.The selected candidate should thrive
in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations,
significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings
across all levels.**Basic Qualifications:**This requisition may be
filled at either a Software Engineer or a Principal Software
Engineer level.**BQs for a Software Engineer are:**+ Bachelor's
Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of
related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0
years of related experience.+ Experience developing software in C++
and Java+ A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret
security clearance is required to start.**BQs for a Principal
Software Engineer are:**+ Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from
an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a
Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related
experience, or 0 years of experience with a PhD.+ Experience
developing software in C++ and Java.+ A current active in-scope
U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to
start.**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's Degree in Software
Engineering or related field.+ Strong interpersonal skills to
collaborate effectively with technical teams and customer
personnel.+ Experience analyzing complex problems and developing
solutions based on limited direction and definition.+ Development
utilizing both Windows and Linux based development environments.+
Experience developing with Go and ReactJS+ Familiarity with Agile
software development practices.+ Security + Certification+ A
current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security
clearance.Salary Range: $74,900.00 - $112,300.00Salary Range 2:
$92,200.00 - $138,400.00Employees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
