  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  
  
• 
  The key focus will be on developing solution to accommodate local compute and cloud resources. High availability architecture incorporating AWS services for IoT, Kinesis, Sagemaker, EC2, RDS, and S3 to support the real-time detection and identification of identities within a low-latency solution operating over FirstNet and supplemented by a wireless mesh network, if needed.

  Support API and physical integration of biometric devices and software within the system to support the collection of biometric and video data. To include supporting the initial site survey to understand environmental needs to support the integration within the system. Secondary, tasking to support the installation of cameras and devices, as necessary given the need for an additional resource on Redstone.
  
  
• 
  Tasks include support to Remote Enrollment, Identity Proofing and Vetting, Biometric Fast Lanes (Vehicle Gate), Smart Passive Surveillance, Integrated Facility Security, Wireless IoT, Data Analytics.
  
  
• 
  Will be responsible for architecting one or more AWS cloud environments to support running of NSS Identity Solutions/Applications.
  
  
• 
  Will work with NSS teams in converting monolithic docker containers into smaller/micro services style containers that will run well in AWS Kubernetes solution.
  
  
• 
  Will deploy AWS infrastructure using terraform to support rapid deployment of similar/identical cloud environments across multiple AWS accounts.
