MITRE's Modeling and Analysis Innovation Center leverages and
integrates a variety of technologies including business and systems
modeling, data engineering, visualization, systems measurements,
and multi-cloud engineering. We will provide you with challenging
opportunities to apply and expand your skills in modeling business
and system processes and using MBSE to analyze requirements and
drive solutions. You will use your abilities to address complex
issues of critical national and global significance.
The MITRE Architecture Analytics Department is looking for systems
engineers and architects with experience in applying systems
engineering principles and practices using model-based languages,
methods, and tools to analyze complex system or system-of-systems.
By applying model-based methods, systems engineers and architects
promote mission success, functional integration, and resource
optimization in support of decision-making for an enterprise
environment. We are looking for highly-motivated, adaptive, and
self-directed early-career candidates with a wide variety of
interests and a foundation of skills in enterprise and system
architectures with a focus on process improvement, innovation,
analytics and optimization.
Responsibilities:
You will provide thought leadership and problem solving for
government customers in collaboration with stakeholders from
private, federal, state and local sectors. Specific
responsibilities will include:
--- Assist government leaders in implementing and adopting
model-based engineering practices and tools;
--- Develop systems engineering models that enable government
leaders make informed decisions about acquisitions, requirements,
design, and execution of a program and/or system;
--- Conduct analysis of current government implementations of MBE
efforts identifying improvements in MBE adoption, execution, and
sustainment; and
--- Collaborate with MITRE experts in MBE knowledge management,
research, and other efforts to grow MITRE's body of knowledge in
MBE capabilities and disciplines.
Required for consideration:
--- SysML, UML, and/or UAF
--- Cameo, NoMagic, DOORS, Rhapsody, or other modeling tools
--- Integration of MatLab or other modeling tool outputs into MBE
tools like Cameo or NoMagic
--- Enterprise Architecture using common frameworks like DODAF,
TOGAF, etc.
--- Systems Engineering Life Cycle Management
--- Software Engineering/Agile Development
