This requisition is intended for candidates who participated in The
Aerospace Corporation 2022 Internship Program. You are applying for
a position to return to the role for which you were an intern in
2022.The Aerospace Corporation Internship Program opportunities are
paid full-time positions for a minimum of 10-weeks in the summer.
Cooperative Education (Co-op) opportunities are also paid. Co-op
positions are limited to participating locations and, students from
approved university programs.
- 2023 Start Dates: 5/22, 5/30, 6/5, 6/12 or 6/19
- 2023 End Dates: 8/4, 8/11, 9/1 or 9/8
- Locations: must be willing to work at any Aerospace location
including but not limited to: El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO,
Cape Canaveral, FL, Greenbelt, MD Albuquerque, NM, Houston, TX,
Salt Lake City, UT, Chantilly, VA, Crystal City, VA, Huntsville,
AL, Hybrid or Remote.Internships and Co-ops are a key strategy in
our college recruiting program. Aerospace offers a variety of
challenging opportunities for candidates currently pursuing a
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in STEM and Business
disciplines.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Assignments vary depending on the hiring organization, but you
are applying to the same role for which you were an intern in 2022
at The Aerospace Corporation
- Participateswith an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research
or technical programs with academic collaboration partners
- Applies standard techniques and procedures to carry out a
series of prescribedscientific and/or engineering tasks
- Training and mentorship will be providedPERFORMANCE STANDARDS
FOR OUR INTERNSHIP POSITIONS INCLUDE:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must possess strong organizational, time management, and
project management skills
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing

internal and external organizations

InnovationWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited
college/university program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or
Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber/Cyber
Security, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Information Technology, Intelligence Studies,
Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Physics. Software
Engineering, and Systems Engineering, other STEM related
disciplines, and Business related disciplines.
- Prior internship at The Aerospace Corporation required
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance; US Citizenship
requiredHOW YOU CAN STAND OUT:
- GPA 3.5 or higher
- Active security clearance
- Experience programming in C, C++, HTML, Python, JAVA
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations, leading
small groups, etc.
- Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on
complex projects
- Experience in working on business or engineering full
life-cycle projects from project inception through launch
- Software design, development, unit testing, and integration
experience
- Participationin extracurricular activities related to
assignmentTranscripts are required for this position.Temporary

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual
salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of
factors including but not limited to education, experience,
knowledge and skills. (Min - Mid - Max)$25 - $26 - $28Ways We
