Join our workshop in Florence, AL location as a CNC Machine Operator

Our winning team is built by continuous investment in skills development, leadership and well-being. .We have an opening at our Florence, AL facility as a CNC Machine Operator.

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be:

• Responsible for set-up and machining operations, including lathes, milling machines (both conventional and CNC), drill presses, rotary surface grinders, etc.
• Must have ability to interpret blueprints for setups and layouts
• Operate forklifts and mobile cranes
• Maintain/sharpen tools as needed
  
  Expectations
  
  To excel in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of machining techniques and procedures and a thorough knowledge of machine functions and reading drawings. You exercise judgment and use skills to attain high accuracy needed to conform to the most demanding specifications under minimal supervision. You are an energetic, hands-on person with an active work approach and willing to work overtime to meet delivery schedules and travel to customer/vendor facilities as needed.
  
  Requirements
  
  • Qualified candidate will have high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2-years Machine Shop experience.
  • AAS in machining or machine tool technology from Community College a plus.
