Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Quality
Inspector 1 to join our Iuka, Mississippi location. We are a
world-class manufacturer of advanced composite structures for
complex aerospace applications. Our work is mission critical and
directly contributes to national security. Come be a part of our
- Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections
using standard measurement instruments on tightly tolerance
materials, components, subassemblies and final assemblies in the
- Performs required inspections in accordance with drawing,
specifications, standard work and planning requirements.
- Supports customer source inspections.
- Documentation of non-conformances on materials, parts or
- Reviews supplier paperwork, verifying material pass/fail
criteria against engineering inspection requirements.
- Visual inspection and basic dimensional measurements of
- Reading chart records to determine material shelf life and

Travel is less than 10% and within the US.
This is a first or second shift position. Working hours may vary
based on the work load and criticality of the mission and may
include weekend work. You will need to be on call on a rotating
- High School Diploma and 2+ years of work experience.
- Familiarity with the quality process
- Experience in inspection processes; knowledge and use of
inspection and testing instruments
- Experience with common quality systems such as
non-conformances, cause/corrective actions.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work in order to
accomplish multiple assigned tasks while maintaining attention to

Salary Range: $15 USD - $25 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
