to support our UX team efforts.The selected candidate will have
experience using and deploying research methodologies across a
variety of contexts. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with
designers, developers, project managers, and engineers to identify,
define, and deliver meaningful research insights to stakeholders.
This is a remote position however the ideal candidate will be
located in or near a city where NGC has a facility.Accepting
candidates at the Principal UX Researcher and UX Researcher
levels.Activities and responsibilities:Employ user-centered design
methodologies to drive a better user experience for our
customersConduct user research for our customers using the
appropriate combination of methods and technologies.Be a strong and
vocal user advocate that emphasizes the best possible user
experienceUsability Testing: Help conduct in-person and remote
evaluations of users attempting tasks on customer products whether
they be hardware or software. This requires a heavy emphasis on
thorough communication with colleagues, customers, and
participants; interpersonal skills; detailed note taking; and
troubleshooting technology.Analyze Data: We're looking for someone
who loves working with and making sense of data. All research
generates data that must be analyzed and appropriately conveyed to
the customer. The ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative
is a must.Conduct Surveys: We conduct surveys in many of our
research studies. We're looking for someone who can program surveys
using Qualtrics or the like and can troubleshoot any
issues.Customer Interaction: As a DOD company, we work closely with
the military and government to accomplish their project goals. This
requires clear communication and consistent updates to customers,
as well as making sure the project stays in scope, on budget, and
on track to achieve their research goals. Research findings are
presented to stakeholders, so attention to detail and confidence
presenting results are important.QualificationsBS/BA in Information
Communication Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology,
Computer Science, or a related field5 years relevant job experience
with a Bachelor's degree (or 3 years of relevant experience with a
Master's degree)Have experience in agile methodologies Ability to
conduct, analyze and report analysis of user research dataSuperior
written and verbal communicationExperience with identifying and
mitigating biasCandidates with these desired skills will be given

related fieldExperience with customer experience data and best
practicesExperience creating user research plans that align with

Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USDSalary Range 2: $92,200 USD -
$138,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
