Boeing is seeking a motivated and talented Mid-level Electronic Warfare to join the Missile Defense National Team in Huntsville, Alabama!

The Missiles and Weapons Systems (MWS) organization is a dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. Connected to our customers' missions, we deliver unique capability through our exceptional talent. The programs that we support in Huntsville, Alabama include Ground-based Midcourse Defense, Next Gen Interceptor, precision-guided munitions, and Integrated Air & Missile Defense products (PAC-3, Avenger, ABMD); National Team, and Strategic Deterrence Systems (which includes Minuteman ICBM support and guidance system repair). The Missile Defense Programs in the Huntsville site include Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), and Missile Defense National Team - Engineering (MDNT-E). The Missile Defense Programs in the Colorado Springs area include Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) and Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD).

Missile Defense programs are part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System which defends the United States homeland and its regional allies all over the world. Be a part of our passionate and highly-motivated team who are excited to be on the forefront of defense of our nation. Position Responsibilities:

* Conduct analysis of, develop strategies for implementing, and develop requirements for electronic protections for the missile defense system * D evelop and execute high-fidelity models using object oriented MATLAB programming. The model will include sensor phenomenology, signal processing, detection, tracking, and discrimination algorithms * Use developed models to conduct performance analyses, support trade studies, and develop requirements for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) * Coordinate analysis activities and products with functional group leads, senior management, and government personnel responsible for executing analysis tasks * Document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to the Missile Defense National Team (MDNT) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) representatives

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in a Technical Field (i.e. engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or similar) * 1+ years of experience with electronic warfare, electronic attack and/or electronic protection * Experience with MATLAB for data analysis and/or modeling and simulation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering * 1+ years of experience with Radar systems or coursework in Radar theory * 1+ years of experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency * Experience with configuration management software such as TortoiseSVN. * A basic understanding of performance parameters, technical performance measures, methods and techniques definition, sensors, missiles, interceptors, detection/tracking, or Command and Control (e.g., C3I, C4I, etc.) analysis * Individual with demonstrated team leadership experience

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience ). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard .

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
