We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Systems Security Engineer to join our GA-EMS Group located in Huntsville, AB or San Diego, CA. Provides technical expertise for the design, development, qualification, integration and fielding of security and cyber survivability solutions in the areas of Program Protection, Software Assurance and Threat & Risk Analysis for customer platforms under development. The position requires a highly motivated and flexible individual familiar with developing SSE (Anti-Tamper (AT), Cyber, Software Assurance, and Risk Management) solutions to meet customer requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess multiple candidate security solutions for --best fit-- with customer requirements, establishes detailed systems requirements and allocation of those requirements to sub-systems and engages with all engineering disciplines to quantitatively assess a system's [in] ability to resist cyber-attack over a range of cataloged attack Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
• Responsible for guiding the SSE implementation during the development, integration, test, and fielding of the systems and ensuring programs are executed to meet or exceed requirements while meeting cost and performance targets.
• Analyze missions and systems for potential Abuse and Misuse conditions and consequences and propose mitigation approaches
• Provide guidance on ensuring systems are specified, designed, developed, implemented, integrated, and sustained to meet security needs, goals and objectives
• Research and develop unique technical capabilities and processes for understanding, assessing, and analyzing system and technology resilience and security
• Assist in systems security analysis and assessments, including identifying risk criticalities and handling options, to inform decision making
• Assist in development of systems security and cybersecurity strategy development, system testing and evaluation, and verification and validation efforts
• Analyze system requirements, software, hardware, and integration approaches using analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities and system architecture, design, and implementation flaws
• Develop system security engineering attributes within complex model-based system engineering products in direct support of programs
