ID: 20001Location: Huntsville, ALUS Citizenship Required: YesTravel: Up to 25%DescriptionThis position is for a Senior Systems Engineer that can lead an Agile Development Team. This team will support DoD UAS projects to include both software and hardware integration.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a cross-functional team in validating functional and non-functional requirements per the system design documentation. Derive system requirements, develop design artifacts, integrate system components, and assist with different levels of testing. Derive and capture design requirements. Develop design artifacts to include sequence diagrams, component diagrams and requirements traceability matrix. Integrate software in a Linux and/or Windows environment. Participate and support milestone reviews, such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR. Articulate product acceptance standards and streamline integration in support of the overall enterprise vision.Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or another related STEM field. Will consider years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 7 to 9 years of related experience
• Multi-tasking aptitude
• Proactive problem solver
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Proficient in using UML modeling tools
    • Experience with requirements management
    • Experience with Agile Development methodologies
    • Familiar with virtualization, messaging techniques and associated software
    • Experience in testing networked systems
    • Capable of troubleshooting multi-platform systems
      • Understand test automation and implementation
      • Experience in Linux environments
      • Strong written and oral communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
        • Experience with MagicDraw, IBM Rational Rhapsody
        • Experience with DOORs, Polarion or a similar tool
        • JIRA or similar Agile development tool
        • Ability to use and diagnosis interpret log files, Wireshark, and network connectivity issues
