Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for aa customer focused Network Lead to join our team in Huntsville, AL, to provide support to the Army and to begin an exciting career within DSA. The Network Lead will be responsible for responsibilities including overseeing automation, data/telecommunications, visual information and records management for the Program Executive Office (PEO) Missile and Space (MS). PEO MS provides centralized management for Army Air and Missile Defense and Tactical Missile Programs as well as selected Army Space programs that leverage state-of-art technology to meet Warfighter multi-domain and full spectrum operation requirements. The Network Lead will provide voice, data and video technical support for all the PEO networks and systems to include the PEO Enterprise Network, PEO Classified network, PEO Classified Standalone systems and all relevant applications, interfaces and devices in approximately 18 individual facilities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Provide technical support for interconnectivity issues between other interconnected Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs) and communications networks, both Unclassified and Classified * Providing innovative approaches to strategic technical planning and solutions to overcome operational challenges and obstacles. * Provide network monitoring, testing, management and administration services required to maintain and re-engineer all existing and future PEO networks. * Lead complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry best practices, DoD standards, and Army standards. Position Requirements * Bachelor's degree (required) Master's degree (desired) in Engineering or Networks. * CISCO Network Professional Security (CCNP) or equivalent certification is mandatory. * 8 to 10 years of experience in design and computer network architecture and data communication networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks experience. * Experience implementing industry best practices and standards for mission network support, including ITIL, LSS, AQA, Malcolm Baldridge and CMMI compliant processes. * Provide expertise in network infrastructure, architecture management, design, and performance tuning. * Must have minimum 5 years of experience performing technical oversight and analysis of contractor approaches, designs, best practices * Experience working within the Risk Management Framework (RMF). * Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning of networks * Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. * Experience with requirements analysis, project planning, resource management, risk management, strategic planning, quality assurance, enterprise-level systems deployment, software security architectures and federal Government security policies. * Technical expertise in current and emerging cloud technologies. * Possess knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military programs and resources for Army systems * Experience leading technical discussions with internal and external customers. Preferred * Experience working in large, complex IT environments * Experience with general IT security concepts, network security and software development practices/methodologies. * Prior Military network experience and familiarity with Army Data Policy.
