Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking a
Director of Business Development to support the
development and implementation of the corporate strategic plan,
business development plan, and segment business plans . This
position is based in Huntsville, AL.
Proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, and
teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition
strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, and core
Performs market research and analysis.
Evaluates operational issues to determine how competitive and
current it is with the latest trends in the industry.
BBA or BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Current DoD Secret security clearance
Must have 10 or more years of related Department of Defense
Business Development experience.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
The candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft (MS) Office®
Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel
Commercial Business Development experience.
