Overview Open & closing dates Opening and closing dates09/02/2020 to 09/09/2020 Service Competitive Pay scale & grade GS 15 Salary $131,075 to $170,403 per year Appointment type Permanent Work schedule Full-Time Duties SummaryThe Vehicle Systems Department of the Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Directorate, Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) is seeking a senior engineer to serve as Branch Chief of the Program Analysis and Systems Integration Branch. The incumbent will be responsible for directing and managing SMA functions and activities in support of the MSFC projects and programs. Qualifications In addition to the basic education requirement, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-14), which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.Specialized experience includes leading or managing, personnel or projects or teams; Experience leading and coordinating complex schedules/resources across multiple organizations/centers/programs to ensure that obligations are met in timely manner in support of programmatic needs; Experience performing or leading systems engineering in support of space systems.Your resume must include a clear and detailed narrative description, in your own words, of how you meet the required specialized experience.
