SAIC is seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Team Lead to
support an Army customer located in Huntsville, AL.
The ideal candidate will successfully lead a team supporting
daily operational needs of the UC systems deployed or utilized
enterprise customers, including operating, maintenance, and
integration of all
UC responsible technologies implemented by the organization.
Operate, configure, manage, and provide
troubleshooting/restoration services for the following key
Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Expressways, Cisco Emergency
Responder, Cisco Paging Server, Cisco WebEx, Cisco
Communications Server, VQ Conference Manager,
Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco
Communications Manager, and Cisco IP phones.
Validate delivery performance through the analysis of
packets, protocols, and QoS functionality for all services using
optimization and flow analysis.
Provide key interoperability and functional testing with
engineering teams, and assist with their expertise in
furtherance of UC support
goals with vendors and other subject matter experts.
Provide guidance for field technicians concerning all daily
incident handling and restorative issues.
Document all UC systems, have input into the deliverables
required of the team, and provide both physical and logical
drawings of all UC
Provide expertise to assist customers in designing,
specifying, installing and supporting conference rooms.
Maintain and support VTC and S-VTC equipment.
Desk phone VOIP support.
Serves as service manager for: VOIP, Instant Messaging,
Conference room design, installation and support services,
WebEx, VTCs and
Required Education : BS Degree in engineering, IT, or related
field and ten (10) years or more of experience (4 years of
experience accepted in lieu of degree)
Required Clearance: Applicant selected must
currently possess a minimum of an Interim Secret clearance with the
ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Professional experience with UC systems specified above.
Experience with VoIP and have at least 7 years of experience
in a medium sized (less than 5000 users) UC environment.
Must have at least IAT Level II certifications (at least
CE or equivalent and an acceptable computing environment
Expert with operations, maintenance and daily analysis of
performance of UC hardware and software systems required for UC
be successful in a DoD environment.
