Description SAIC is currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to perform system administration and other information technology activities in an engineering environment. -- JOB DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will be assisting in hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, scanning, patching and backup of client servers/workstations. They will perform hardware upgrades, software upgrades, apply security patches, apply recommended operating system (OS) patches, test and install desktop software, add and remove user accounts, provide system performance tuning, and perform backups and restores. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS degree and--9+ years of experience/certifications/military equivalent [4 years experience accepted in lieu of degree]. -- REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems.-- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or prior DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification. Computing Environment (CE) IAT Level I Microsoft certification.-- Be able to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance. --Active--Secret Clearance preferred.Desired Qualifications--
