Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a
Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate,
you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the
production line. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail,
the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a
strong commitment to safety and quality, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Haleyville, AL Pay Range: $17.00/hour Shift: Monday -
Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (some overtime may be required at times)
What's the Job? Operate machinery required for specific production
tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including training new
operators. Inspect products for defects and ensure quality
standards are met, monitoring for consistency. Carry out
measurements and weight checks to maintain product specifications.
Assemble products according to instructions with a focus on safety
and quality. Participate in Lean Manufacturing techniques including
5S1 and safety Kaizens to improve processes. What's Needed? Basic
reading and writing skills to follow instructions and complete
paperwork accurately. Ability to add, subtract, and interpret
measurements, including reading tape measures. High level of
dexterity and ability to work with hands efficiently. Ability to
lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing,
twisting, and stooping for long periods. Ability to work in varying
environmental conditions, including cold, heat, and dusty
