Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a dedicated General Labor Forklift Operator to join their team. As a General Labor Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: General Labor Forklift Operator Location: Woodstock, AL Pay Range: $16.00 per hour Shift: First What's the Job? Operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the facility. Perform safety checks on equipment and ensure proper fluid levels before use. Manage inventory by removing palletized bags from production lines and placing them in designated storage areas. Utilize stretch-wrappers to secure pallets and ensure proper packaging. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment by picking up trash and debris and washing equipment. What's Needed? Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment safely. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy weather. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. What's in it for me?
