General Summary Responsible for performing system analysis for company. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions) * Responsible for performing analysis on system problems * * Responsible for working with system users to define problem areas, data availability, report requirements, etc. * * Responsible for defining system objectives and for preparing system design specifications to meet user requirements * * Responsible for analyzing various ways to derive input data in order to select the most appropriate process * * Responsible for implementing system design specifications * * May define input and output file specifications including file organization * * May be responsible for defining controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans * May occasionally provide work leadership to lower level employees * Responsible for analyzing, defining, designing and developing new system requirements * * Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility * * Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system * * Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies * Required Experience -- Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field, or the equivalent experience * Minimum of five years' work related experience as a Windows Systems Administrator * Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs * Working knowledge of current systems and applications. * Active DoD Secret Security Clearance * Security+ CE (or other IAT Level II certification) required * VMWare certification * ACAS Certification * MCSA Server Certification Preferred Qualifications * CISSP certification desired * Linux system administration experience * Tactical / Weapon system administration experience Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
