General Summary: -- Performs system monitoring and analysis support for the detection of cyber incidents and provides recommendations on how to correct findings. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions): + Provide assistance in resolving basic technology support issues. + Administer Windows servers to include Domain Controller, WSUS, SCCM, and other Windows server roles. + Answers basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of assigned products based on previous experience and knowledge. + Design and develop one or more courses of action, evaluating each of these courses in a test case environment, and implementing the best solution to the problem. + Solve issues in accordance with government standards, policies, and quality control guidelines. + May interface with vendors and/or make recommendations on business applications, equipment, etc. Required Experience -- Required Qualifications * Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. May use related experience in lieu of education. * Minimum of two years' work related experience * Active Security+ CE certification or higher DoD 8750 certification * Ability to obtain a Windows Computing Environment (CE) certification within 6 months of hire * Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Clearance * Comprehensive knowledge of hardware and/or software products required. * Ability to write, listen and communicate effectively.
