General Summary The COLSA Corporation is looking for qualified candidates for a Software Code Analysts to support the validation of critical Missile Defense Agency programs. This Code Analyst will use industry standard analysis tools, both static and dynamic, to evaluate the OEM developed code. The analyst will assist the team in developing state-of-the-art processes and metrics to efficiently evaluate the utility of the OEM code. Using knowledge gained from first-hand experience coding with C or C++, the analyst will write and execute both unit and integration tests. Analyst will also be required to look at the OEM developed code and identify where the actual written code is inconsistent with the OEM's coding standards. The candidate will be responsible for providing feedback via written reports and briefings to the government across multiple areas being assessed so written and verbal skills are a must. Required Experience -- Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related field or equivalent experience. * Minimum of five years of applicable progressively complex software design engineering experience. * Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance. * Two-years experience coding software, preferably with C, C++ or Ada. * Familiarity with the development and interpretation of software metrics. * Familiarity with static and/or dynamic software analysis tools. * Candidate must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel. * Strong verbal and written communication skills is required. Preferred Qualifications * Master's preferred. * Experience with writing software unit tests or software integration tests. * First hand experience with one of the following software analysis tools: Fortify, Understand, Klockworks, LDRA, Covariety or other analysis tool. * Knowledge of analysis tool aggregation software such as CodeDX or Toyf.
