General Summary Under limited direction, designs, creates, tests, operates and implements secure scanning environments and databases. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions) + Designs, creates, develops, tests, and implements cyber applications, secure operating systems, and database products to find secure solutions for enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. + Manages, develops, and researches databases of security information from internal and open sources. + Performs research and analyses at all levels of total system product with an emphasis on software development practices. + Provides architectural analysis and relates existing system to future needs and trends. + Payload development, NVD/CVE coordination, and CWE mapping + Scoring of weaknesses using CVSS to include triage of potential software security fixes + Ability to tactfully present weaknesses and help development teams understand the weaknesses and flaws in their software Required Experience -- Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; advanced degree preferred. + Minimum of 7 years work related experience. + Ability to obtain and maintain Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and CISSP within 6 months of hire. + In depth understanding of cyber security policy, tools, threat mitigation, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks is preferred. + Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings. + Requires DoD Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications + Experience in origin analysis method, static and dynamic binary analysis method, and static source analysis. + Current CEH + Current CISSP Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
