Cloud Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: Manages, administers, supports and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members. You Have: Experience with Amazon Web Services Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform or Vault Experience with platform-as-a-service technologies, including Kubernetes Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions, or 12 years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for GitLab CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness Experience triaging and resolving issues for both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments Experience with containerization tools Experience with DevOps practices and tools Experience with Git or GitLab Experience applying cloud security principles Experience programming in Python and Java AWS Certifications Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
