Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a SharePoint Developer in
Huntsville, Alabama. Qualified candidates must have a Top-Secret
Clearance with eligibility to obtain an SCI.
- Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
- Proactively identifies issues with site collection, storage
quotas, and search configuration
- Develops custom site functions, workflows, business processes,
and management.
- Creates site columns and content types to promote tagging and
discoverability of content.
- Creates and manages subsites, lists, and libraries to define
the taxonomy and structure of data stored within the site
collection.
- Displays knowledge on how to integrate SharePoint with other
systems.
- Ensure SharePoint best practices are followed.
- Defines SharePoint site objectives by analyzing user
requirements, and envisioning system features and
functionality.
- Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet
applications by setting expectations and feature priorities
throughout the development life cycle
- Determines design methodologies and toolsets
- Completes programming using languages and software
products.
- Recommends system solutions by comparing the advantages and
disadvantages of custom development and purchase
alternatives.
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and
server scripting.
- Studies and establishes connectivity with network systems,
search engines, and information servers.
- Creates multimedia applications by using industry
tools.
- Completes application development by coordinating requirements,
schedules, and activities.
- Contributes to team meetings and troubleshoots development and
production problems across multiple environments and operating
platforms.
- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance
tools.
- Researches new internet/intranet technologies and software
products.
- Participates in educational opportunities; reads professional
publications; maintains personal networks.
- Provides second-level support and assist with third-level
support.
- Troubleshoots and manages resolution of operational problems
for assigned software or hardware technologies.
- Builds understanding of communications and collaboration
technologies within the organization through the creation of
self-service options.
- Mentors and assists team members and other peers who are less
experienced or knowledgeable in a specific technology.
- Leads and directs others in the overall administration of a
specialized platform or technology.
- Performs installation, configuration, and maintenance of
technologies, software, and solutions following established
procedures and change control standards.
Qualifications
- Have an active Secret clearance at minimum or a Top-Secret
clearance to support this project
- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office 365
(SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, and Power BI)
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but can be waived for the
appropriate amount of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure
Administration, and Microsoft Office 365 online groups.
- Experience in the development of technical user
documentation.
- Demonstrated focus on customer service skills and the ability
to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of
audiences.
- Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills,
and effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, think
creatively, and make presentations to large audiences.
- Experienced in SharePoint Development and Implementation.
Business Development
- Assist with Business Development activities as required to
support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may
include but not limited to participation in technical interviews,
creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing
support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
Travel Requirements
