zachary Piper Solutions is Seeking A geospatial Software Engineer To Join One Of Our Clients In hunstville, Al In Supporting The Federal Bureau Of Investigation (fbi) In The Innovative Design And Development Of Tools And Applications That Leverage The Arcgis Rest And Python Api.this Position Requires An Active Top Secret clearance Be Held For A Candidate To Be Eligible.

the geospatial Software Engineer will Ensure That Existing Automation Software Is Able To Provide Results And Aid In Developing Data-driven Solutions For Incident Operations And National Security Events. The Scope Of The Program Will Allow The Automation Of A Variety Of Gis Tasks Such As Automating Map Production, Publishing Web Services, Updating Data Sources Across Different Databases, And Web Map Generation.

Responsibilities Of The Geospatial Software Engineer Include:

--- Expected To Design, And Develop Cloud-based Web Applications And Data Management Strategies For Large-scale Deployment And Management In The Homeland Security Community

--- Rapidly Prototype Cloud-based Web Applications To Showcase New Concepts And Ideas Quickly Convert Customer Ideas To Minimum-viable-products Using The Entire Arcgis Suite Of Tools To Meet Client Expectations

--- Solve And Articulate Complex Problems With Application Design, Development, And User Experiences

--- Suggests New Technologies And Approaches, Often Demonstrating And Championing Their Use While Simultaneously Estimate The Duration And Level Of Effort Of Development Tasks Through Collaboration With Sme And Leads

--- Solve And Articulate Complex Problems With Application Design, Development, And User Experiences Leveraging Arcgis Dashboard, Insights, S123, Field Maps, Exb, And Wab

Qualifications For The Geospatial Software Engineer Include:

--- Bachelors In Geospatial Engineering, Software Engineering Or Related Technical Field

--- 2 + Years Of Experience Within Software Engineering Profession(s) Or 5 + Years Of Related Experience For Applicants Without A Bachelors Degree

--- Experience Managing The Integration Of Data Services And Ingests Between Record-keeping Systems And Gis

--- Experience Managing The Implementation And Documentation Of Gis Security Processes And Systems

--- Experience In Or Working Fundamental Knowledge Of The Entire Arcgis Enterprise And Desktop Suites

--- *must Hold And Be Able To Maintain A Top Secret Clearance Prior To Submittal*

Compensation For The Geospatial Software Engineer Include:

--- Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 **depending On Experience**
