Start Building Your Future today!We are seeking an experienced Python Software Engineer/Analyst who will support our Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division customer in the development of a damage assessment 3D visualization tool. In this highly motivated team-based environment, you will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle including requirements development, design, traceability, interoperability, continuous integration, and system testing. You'll utilize PySide/PyQt GUI development to create new tools in support of NSWC Carderock's mission. You'll report your technical status and progress on the project to the technical lead weekly. To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills to perform daily responsibilities.Required:

• ABET accredited BS is technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or BS in related field
• 1 years of software development experience, including Python GUI development with PySide or PyQt is desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Some travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearanceDesired:
  • PyCharm IDE Experience
  • Panda3D Development Experience
