Senior .NET/Android Developer Huntsville, AL Join our Talent Network Venturi, LLC a Chenega Company seeks aSenior .NET/Android Developer who is passionate about application and mobile development. This individual will work with our team of talented engineers to design, build, and deploy next generation applications for the United States Marine Corps. Specifically, the application that the candidate will support is a Program of Record Fire Control Application (FCA) to guide loitering/precision strike munitions from far distances, making it easier and safer for Marines to do their jobs effectively. Duties and Responsibilities: + Architect, design, and build advanced applications for .NET and Android platforms+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design, and implement new features+ Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and functionality+ Perform code reviews to be the first line of defense and improve product quality+ Work on bug fixing and improving application performance+ Demonstrate team mentorship and technical leadership+ Work as an agile team member on a Scrum teamEducation Requirements: + Relevant BS/BA and 2+ years of relevant experience OR+ High school diploma or GED and 6+ years relevant experience+ US citizenship required+ Background check required and must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance and obtain/maintain a secret clearanceRequired Skills: + Able to demonstrate knowledge in software development+ Working knowledge of .NET development+ Understanding of the full development lifecycle+ Java, C#, C++ and Object Oriented Development+ Candidates must also have a working knowledge of all software development processes and documentation.Desired Skills: + 10+ years of related experience+ Working knowledge of Android development+ Familiarity with Agile development process+ Experience with UNIX/Linux environments+ Solid problem solving and communication skills+ A current security clearance is desired but not required.
